Meet the Team

A Steering Group oversees the Women's Cardiovascular Health and Cardiac Rehabilitation Priority Setting Partnership including, refining scope, developing surveys and involving partner organizations. The Steering Group is composed of people with lived experience, clinicians/clinician researchers and other knowledge users.

Research Team

  • Tracey Colella

    Priority Setting Partnership Co-lead

    A clinician and scientist focused on women’s health and cardiac rehabilitation. She has an established network including patients, potential partner organisations and experienced in successfully organizing provincial and national meetings.

  • Jennifer Bethell

    Priority Setting Partnership Co-lead

    An epidemiologist with an interest in patient engagement. She has previously led two PSPs in Canada (dementia and frailty) using the JLA approach.

  • Racquel Brown

    Priority Setting Partnership coordinator

    A masters’ trainee in the Rehabilitation Sciences program at the University of Toronto under the co-supervision of Drs. Colella and Bethell.

  • Tamara Rader

    JLA Adviser

    An Engagement Officer with the Canadian Agency for Drugs and Technologies in Health (CADTH) since 2015. She enjoys listening to people with lived experience from across Canada and finding ways to involve them in CADTH’s projects. Tamara joined the James Lind Alliance team in 2019.
